Britney Spears is a Sagittarian by sun sign as she was born on December 2, 1981 and her birth name is Britney Jean Spears. She was in McComb, Mississippi, USA, but was raised in Kentwood, Louisiana, USA. She is a American pop singer, dancer, songwriter and an Actress by profession.

Britney was raised as south Baptist by her parents Mr. James Parnell Spears and Mrs.. Lynne Irene Bridges. Her father was a Building contractor by profession and her mother was a former Grade school teacher. Spears brother Bryan works as a Manger for spears family inters and her sister Jamie Lynn is an actress and a singer.
Britney was an accomplished Gymnast, attending Gymnastics classes until the age of nine and competing in state level competitions. She performed in local dance revues and her local Baptist Church choir. At the age of eight she auditioned for the Disney channel series The Mickey Mouse Club. Although she was considered too young to join the series at that time, a producer on the show introduced her to a New York City Agent. Spears subsequently spent three summers at NYC’s Professional Performing Arts School and also appeared in a number of OFF Broadway productions, and in 1992 she landed a spot on a popular television show Star Search. At the age of eleven, Spears returned to Disney channel for the spot on the “The New Mickey Mouse Club” in Lakeland, Florida. She was featured on the show from 1993 to 1994 until she turned 13 years. After that show ended, Britney returned to Kentwood and entered High school for a year.
In the year 1997, Britney joined the all –female pop group “Innosense”. Later that same year, she decided to go solo. After recording a demo, she was signed by Jive Records. She began touring American venues for a series of concerts sponsored by American Teen magazines, and eventually became an opening act for ‘N Sync and Backstreet Boys.

Britney’s debut single “Baby One More Time”, release in the end of 1998 and became an instant success . It peaked at number one on the Billboard’s Hot 100 and has earned nine million sales worldwide. Spear’s who was clad in a school girl’s uniform in the video “ Baby One More Time “ achieved 25th rank on the Rolling Stone and also zoomed into MTV”S “100 greatest Pop Songs Of All time”
In December 1999, she won four Billboard Music Awards, including Female Artist of the year and also won Favorite Pop/Rock New artist Award at the American Music Award. At the 2000 Grammy awards, spears received two nominations in the categories of Best New Artist and best Female Pop Vocal Performance for ….Baby One More Time, but lost to Christina Aguilera and Sarah Mclachlan respectively.
Following the success of her previous album, spears released the album Oops!..i did it again, which debuted at number one in the US, selling 1,319,193 units during its first week of sales ,breaking the SoundScan records for the highest sales in its debut week by any solo artist. The RIAA awarded the album with a Diamond Certification with 10 million copies sold in USA and 20 million Copies sold worldwide. The album’s lead single Oops! …I did it again , broke the record for most radio station additions in a a single day and sprang up to the top ten hits in the US and other countries. In the same year, she launched her first world tour, the “Oops! I did again world tour “. During this tour she halted in New York to accept the MTV 2000 Video music awards. .
Britney 2001 - 2003 career development.
Britney released her third studio album Britney in November 2001. Although this album was not as successful as her previous .she assumed some creative control by co-writing five of the album’s tracks. This album recorded a sale of 745,744 units during its first week and also managed to be leading the US top ten. “Britney” was sold around thirteen million copies worldwide. Her career success was highlighted by Forbes magazine in 2002 as Britney was ranked the world’s most powerful celebrity .she performed at the MTV video Music Awards and was accompanied by Christina Aguilera for the song “ “Like a Virgin” and was latter joined by Madonna . Spears locked Lips with Madonna in a highly publicized Kiss.
In November 2003, Britney released her fourth studio album, In the Zone,. Britney Co-wrote eight of the album’s thirteen songs and co- produced several pieces of her material for the first time. This album topped the US Music Charts, selling over 609,000 copies. This made spears the only female in the Music history to have her first four studio albums debut at number one.
2004-2005 greatest hits and remix albums
After her marriage to Kevin Federaline , Spears announced Via her website she would be taking another career break in order to start a family. The year 2004, saw the release of her first greatest hits collections, Greatest Hits: “My Perogative. The album debuted at number four in the US charts selling over 255,000 copies and featured three news songs, including her version Bobby Brown’s 1988 hit “ My Perogative” which became a modest hit. The compilation included all of her singles except for “From the Bottom of My Broken Heart”, which is not included in any edition.
In November 2005, Britney released a remix album, “B IN the Mix: The Remixes”. The album contained remixes of Britney’s biggest hits, ranging from “Baby One more time” to “Toxic”.
Britney 2007: Return to music
Britney recorded her latest album with producers such as Sean Garrett, J.R Rotem and Nate “Dania “Hills through out 2006 and 2007 . in Nay 2007,she also produced a mini tour for the house of Blues under the name “ The M+M’s ,including live performances across San Diego ,Anaheim, Los angles, Las Vegas, Orlando and Miami.
Britney’s fifth Album entitled Blackout was scheduled to be released on September 13th, 2007. However, due to online leaks, the album was pushed up for release on October 30. Blackout debuted as number 2 in S billboard 200 charts selling 290,000 copies.
Spear’s performance at 2007 MTV Video Music awards received much media attention and was called a disappointing attempt at a come back. This performance was said to be the worst of MTV video awards as Britney is said to have only Lip –Synched and at times just stopped singing altogether.
Britney’s Bitter experiences
* In January 2007, spears aunt, Sandra Bridges Covington, with whom she had been very close, died of Breast cancer
* .
* Britney stayed in an Off-shore drug rehabilitation facility in Antigua for les than 24 hours on February 16th.
* The following night, spears went to a hair saloon and shaved off her hair off with clippers.
* A few days later, on February 20th, she admitted herself to a treatment facility In Malibu, California.
* On February 19th, Kevin Fedraline had requested an emergency hearing regarding the custody of his children with spears but his attorney announced that his client asked to cancel the court appearance.
* Throughout early 2007,Spears embarked on a series of behaviors that received much attention from the media ,including attacking paparazzi with an umbrella.
* As the legal battle over the custody of their children continued, many members of her entourage have been subpoenaed to testify about her parenting skills.
* Spears lost physical custody of her children on October 1st.
* And the latest is that Britney’s, 16-year old sister and “Zoey 101” Star Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant and that the father of the baby is said to be her Jamie’s Boyfriend, Casey Aldridge.
Britney’s Relationships
* In early 2002, Spears four year old relationship with Timberlake ended.
* Spears married childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander On January 3rd 2004, at the The Little White Wedding Chappell in Las Vegas. but the marriage lasted 55 hours, ending with an Annulment stating that spears “Lacked understanding of her actions to the extent that she was incapable of agreeing to marriage because before entering into the marriage the Plaintiff and Defendant did not know each others Likes and Dislikes, each other desires to have or not have children and each other’s desires as to State Of Residency”.
* In July 2004, Spears announced her engagement to Kevin Fedraline, three months after they met. And on September 18, Spears married Federline in a surprise and after her marriage she announced that she would take a career break as she wanted to start her family.
* And as said she announced her pregnancy after her marriage and gave birth to her First child, Sean Prestone Fedraline, on September 14th 2005 in Santa Monica, California by a scheduled Caesarean section.
* After few months of birth of her first child she again announced her second pregnancy in May 2006 and gave birth to her second son who was named as Jayden James Federline on September 12th in Los Angles.
* Spears filed for divorce on November 7th and the decision is expected to come at the end of the year 2007.
